Banana Turon (Deep-Fried Banana Roll)

12 ripe cooking bananas
Lumpia wrappers
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup cooking oil

  1. Cut bananas in half. Roll each in sugar.
  2. Wrap each halved banana in a lumpia wrapper and seal the end by wetting with water.
  3. Preheat oil in frying pan and fry each wrapped banana until golden brown.
  4. Eat while it is still crunchy.
