Sweet and Sour Meatballs

1/2 pkg Armour homestyle meatball
1 medium carrot, cut into strips.
1 small onion, cut into strips.
1 tbs ginger, minced.
1 tbs garlic, minced.
1 pkg Equal or 2 tsp. of sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/3 cup vinegar
1/3 cup water
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp dried chili pepper (red), chopped into small pieces.
Non-stick cooking oil spray (i.e. Pam)
Salt to taste

  1. Follow the package instruction to cook meatballs.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, mix Equal, ketchup, vinegar, water and cornstarch.
  3. In wok, spray non-stick cooking oil spray. Bring to high heat.
  4. Add ginger and garlic, stir fry.
  5. Add onion and carrot, stir 4 or 5 times.
  6. Season with salt.
  7. Add meatballs, sauce mixture and chili pepper, stir fry for one to two minutes.
  8. Serve hot with steam rice.
